Classic work from the infamous BIRDMAN whose internet passing is widely lamented.

Among several other classic works, Birdman also did the .50BMG handgun with thermonuclear ammunition.

Both "inventions" drove the Brady Bunch absolutely bug-nuts. They took it hook-line-and-sinker. IIRC it was Senators Feinstein and Schumer that took to the floor of the US Senate proclaiming The End Of The World As We Know It. Their humiliation was somewhat more circumspect.

My local gunstore has this poster. They actually stated that people from time to time ask to buy this product.....guess some people don't get the joke

Birdman did his best work around 1999 - 2000.

Looking thru my stash of pics and can't find where I hid them. Might ask over on biggerhammer.com that's where they were originally posted. There's also one of the "Poor Boy's .50BMG Rifle" that's the first one I remember him doing.

Oh yeah, there is a short video of the thermonuclear .50BMG pistol that's worth watching if you can find it.

Birdman's vid is two guys in one-piece silver protective suits with hoods (like fireman's suits) loading and firing one round of "thermonuclear" .50BMG ammunition from a pistol at a target maybe 50 yards away. Soundtrack is the two guys talking about how much fun this is going to be. The ensuing blast vaporizes the shooters. Sorta blurry but very funny.
