Anyone had any trouble with the SideArmor Vertical Scabbard and/or mag pouches in IDPA with the new rules? I am hoping to shoot at the next S&W Winter Championships and don't want to run into trouble.

Been using them for a few years! Shot two sanctioned matches this year! No problems, they make good stuff!

What belt do you use? I use the Wilderness instructors. I did not think there would be any problems, I just thought I would ask.

No poblem w/ the wilderness belt. The sidearmor comes in either 1.5 or 1.75 loop. I like the tall sight channel on their holsters.

The chief range officer checked mine at a match and said it was just barely legal. To be honest, it's not much of a concealment holster - the grip does stick out from the body a little.
edited to say oops! Of course, it's a "safety" officer in IDPA, which I should know since I am one myself. Sometimes the IDPA/IPSC terminology get mixed up in my aging head.

Are you a thin guy? I know I'm not! I have worn mine out and about, just to see if I could, and had no problem.

I'm 6'3" 205, so I'm not skinny, but I'm not obese, though I've been packing it on lately. I have worn the sidearmor in concealment when I was going straight to the range and so on under a heavy concealing garment, but I don't think it would do under an untucked shirt.
