You can practically buy a ruger for what they cost and you have 2 guns;not 1 1/2

Perhaps so, but who would actually want to own a Ruger? Their past political correctness and behind the scenes double dealing gave the American firearm owners the magazine capacity ban and have made them a 'no buy' in my mind for years now, their current PC ways have not changes much, ask anyone trying to get standard capacity magazines out of them! I can't decide if their lawyer inspired MkIII .22 is just sad or yet another joke Ruger is playing on the gun buying public...
Having said that, I love my Advantage Arms .22 conversion units. I'm running units on my G19 and G20 and have put literally 10's of thousands of rounds through them. Keep the magazines clean and you'll get excellent reliability from them... My last outing with the AA G19 unit I ran 1000 rounds without any problems save a dirty firearm and magazines.
You may want to do a search, there have been many threads on the AA units but as far as purchase, GlockMeister... good prices and fast shipping... http://glockmeister.com/
edited for linkee...

I have a ruger, and its a fine pistol. But I want an AA kit as well, pennies a round is great for mastering the Glock trigger system...
Advantage Arms conversion kit was money well spent in my opinion.
Bought them from www.topglock.com

DarkStar,
Can't blame the lawyers for the Ruger MK III. Blame The Peoples Republick Of Kalifornia for it.
Or Ruger's marketing people.
From a source @ Ruger who I've known personally for over 20 yrs. & used to work with him elsewhere, California sales are about 17% of Ruger's total. A market share that large can't be ignored !
At least the new mag release is a nice touch...welcome to the 20th century. (only slightly late)

ps I've shot several .22 conversions for Glocks & the Advantage is by far the best on the market.
u.a.
talk about "PC" gun manufacturing, Advantage arms is based in Kalifornia and therefore wont be making any Hi-cap mags.
I would be interested in one of the conversion kits if the mags held 20 rnds or so like they could / should.

Go to (Advantage Arms) web site and check out the Glock 22cal conversion units. I bought one for my Glock 23 and the darn thing shoot better than my Ruger or Smith. If you order one get an extra magazine. They have a model that has adjustable sights and another that has the regular Glock sights. funny thing is both sell for the same price. Mine is the model with Glock sights (Heck of a lot cheaper practce shooting 22's than 40cal). They sell for around $250 and they have a match chamber and crown on the bbl.
