Well i will say this, it pretty much sucks when it's soaking wet, found that out during the VA-Md sectional last weekend.. I'm not sure how it is brand new when wet, but this was on the gun less then 6 months and it got really wet and was very slippery and it shifted around quite a bit.. Was hard enough and then having to fight that additionally didn't help much. Well My experience with it at least.
Anyone else have that happen ?.. Not that i'll make a habit of shooting in the pouring rain but it happens..
Took it off and am now may put my Hogue slip on back on or maybe try something else.
My hats off to the guys that shot well in let's just say less then ideal conditions.. :) miserable is more like it..
And to the STaff and RO's that hung in there through it all Hoooorah.. great job. :)

I shot the VA MD Match Saturday Afternoon. I too have an A-Grip on my G22 and although it was water logged, it worked great. (did stain my hands blueish black though)
I am going to replace mine soon just because of wear and tear. It is getting rubbed to nothing where my shirt/vest touch it.
I have shot with the Hogue slip on in wet conditions. The weapon was slipping all over the place and I had to regrip after every couple shots. I find the A-Grip far superior to the Hogue but thats me.
The match was great, I shot horribly, the whether sucked but I had a good time. Nothing like running through 6" to a foot of muddly slop to blast paper and steel. About a 2 hour drive for my buddy and I but well worth it.
My Locking block pin breaking on the last stage didn't help either but at least it was the last stage and not the first.

thanks Nathan, maybe even though i've not had it on there that long it was just "wore out".. that brings up the question.. How long should it Last? it's not that cheap to be replacing every month or so..
I like the hogue grips.. i've used them in the rain and honestly to me anyway it was no worse then what i faced with the A-grip.. hmm.. maybe i'll try the other grip.. can't think of the name right now that's cutout like skateboard tape.. have to check the parts forum..
Thanks
Jeff.
I use Decal Grip on my comp guns. Seems to work great. I don't care for it on carry guns because it's pretty tough on clothing. The Hogue grips make the grip a little large for my hands.

Tru grip....it works great but I tended to wear mine out in dryfire practice a lot sooner than I thought it should need to be replaced.

I put one on my G19. It felt good until I bought my G17 and compared the two. Then the AGrip came right off.
One thing: The AGrip came off the gun easily enough, but where it overlapped, I had to tear it to get it loose.
