Do the extractors on the new H&K's still turn purple over time or have they fixed that?

Too early to tell. I have not heard of any report (or complaint) of discoloration as yet.
My "AD" coded USPc .45 extractor turned purple after about a month of use.
I just picked up an "AD" P2000 and "AF" USP 9 a few weeks ago. Both of those extractors appear to be solid black with no signs of turning colors...

Whats wrong with purple. You are worried about one tiny piece. My whole P7m8 slide is purple. Though the extractor is not purple.
