24 Limited Pistol finally complete!

After many weeks of work she is finally complete. She has the following upgrades:

Caspian slide Hard Chromed by Tripp Research.
Heinie Dawson sight set
Hand Fit KKM Barrel
Lightning Strike Guide Rod w/15 lb. spring
2.5 lb. trigger
Stippled grip with THE Brass Magwell. Magwell is ugly but I like the weight that it adds. This pistol is a shooter. I thought it would share my good news with you guys that understand.

Nice! How did you get the trigger that light, or did you buy it?

A guy at my gun club did the trigger work and barrel fitting for me.

Congrats on your new toy, hope you enjoy yours just as much as I have enjoyed mine.

Is that a Novak mag well? I bought the stainless Novak, really like the big a** opening that the Novak provides, like you said, it has a nice weight to it.

Have you bought any extended base pads yet?

I have really enjoyed this one so far. The magwell I have is a THE brass magwell that I picked up used cheap. It doesn't look great but it does give a nice opening. I like the Novak stainless magwell but it gave me sticker shock. How much did you pay for yours? I am using Dawson +4 pads. They add nice weight to the mag for fast exits and they are easy on and easy off. Very easy to clean the mag and very durable since they are metal.

Cheap and finish doesn't matter, as long as it works, that's all that matters, rite.

The sticker shock you mentioned, that's probably close to what i paid. I justified the cost because of the OT that I've been working lately, a lot of it.

I bought the Dawson's as well, need a couple more, pricey little joker's aren't they. But worth it.

What kind of groups does it shoot?

you should get some "Brass black" I think birchwood casey makes it, will make your big brass magwell blend in with the frame, color wise, still not as cool as a novak's stainless, but a hell of a lot cheaper. brownells sells brassblack for about 6 bucks
