I am just dropping a note to let everyone know that the CZ-52 I received from Classic Arms is beautiful. After a recent bad experience with SOG I decided to try someone different. It came in perfect condition - looked brand new with NO wear anywhere on the gun. It was not cosmolined but had a bit of heavy oil on it. Decocker works.
Here is a picture of the new blaster....

SOG is letting me down also. After a week of waiting for a NEW Yugo to be shipped I called to find out they have not even processed the order...and I asked when are they going to?The woman didn't know or care to ask anyone else.
I guess I will have to look for Classic Arms web page and take a look see.

I sent my C&R license to Classic Arms 2 days ago, & plan to get one of their CZ-52's too.
Their price is $10.00 more than SOG. According to Classic's website, their CZ's have the gray phosphate finish. SOG's guns are mixed - some are original gray phosphate, and some are arsenal re-blued guns. I'd rather get the gray finish, which is why I plan to go with Classic Arms.

I got a hand picked Mak from SOG that looked like it set in the bottom of an acid bath for 2 months......I tried Classic Arms because they said their guns were in great condition. They are in awesome condition. I did get one magazine that was bent up just a bit and that caused the follower to catch in one place but it took me about 2 minutes to fix. No big deal.
Next I will do the firing pin update.....
Firing pin update?
A new pin made of better steel to stop from breaking???

Correct....there are a few companies that make all kinds of replacement parts. There are hardened firing pins available.

Make sure to check the pin that holds in your extractor. I got my CZ52 from Classic also, and for whatever reason the hole that the pin goes in was never really 'punched', and it ended up flying out after my 2nd mag full. Mine was probably the only one with this problem, but its worthwile to check just in case (let me tell you, its a biotch to try to find that pin, and the tiny spring after they fly off!)

good idea!
I'm a returning customer at Classic Arms and I can only say good things about them.
My CZ52 is fun and I'm gromwing on it. It shoots a little bit to the left, but who cares? ;f
the shop i work at has the stainless cz-52 firing pins made especially for us. i have fired countless thousands of rounds with mine.
they are $20 delivered to the USA

the pic above is of an original firing pin, the new ones are a slight bit shinier since they are stainless and have no parking.

kf4zra, I might be ordering one then soon as a spare, that is a nice price.
I would keep using the milsurp FP till it breaks(chances are it won't if you don't dry fire), and get a US made one as a spare. I've gone through one 1224 round can and am half way through another with the original firing pin so, YMMV.
If you read my sticky, DO NOT RELY ON THE DECOCKER! Even with the retrofit, the dumb thing does fail. I've not even found the need for it, I carry the gun cocked and locked in the woods for pest control, as it's very accurate.
On mine, I had to replace the saftey detent spring as the saftey was a bit loose, and now it takes a good strong push to deactivate.
