Mini-14 scope mounts?

I had one that required the removal of the iron sights and another that replaced the sheet metal panel on the right side of the receiver, it would either jam or the scope would flop around.
I don't remember the brands of either one, they both sucked.

What would y'all recommend?

What would I recommend? A different rifle to mount a scope on;)

The only mini I have ever shot with a scope had a foward barrel mount

made by Ultimak. The mount worked well but I don't know if it really

made the gun any more accurate.
