Ok, not sure if this should go into reloading section or not, but I'll try here first.
Does anyone want to reload some .357 SIG rounds for me?
Ok, here is what I have:
I send you 20 or so rounds of 9mm ammo (loaded).
I need the bullets extracted from these rounds.
I send you 100 rounds of .357 SIG rounds (loaded).
they will be, probably Winchester Ranger 125gr. JHP rounds.
Ok, here is what I want:
you extract the 20 rounds of 9mm, and reload them into the .357 cases for me and keep the rest of the 357 ammo for yourself as payment? i pay shipping to you and you will take care of shipping back to me (I'll toss in a $5 bill to help cover the cost of the shipping for the 20 rounds).
these are 65 gr. 9mm rounds that I want put into .357, you decide on what amount of powder is right to fill it up. or if you have spare decent/newer .357 cases and primers, then just reload the 9mm rounds into that and keep 100 rounds of .357 Winchester Ranger I send you.
Ok, I think that covers it.

I'd be surprised if the bullets in the 9mm ammo you're sending would even work in a 357SIG case. Most 9mm bullets don't have the proper profile.
And if I were you....I'd be very hesitant to use someone else's reloads.

I cannot imagine why you would want only 20 rounds of 65 grain 357sig. If for defense you are better off with the Rangers.
Also, why leave the powder charge up to the reloader? Do you want max vel. or light loads?
Also, +1 on Kentuckian's post. Both points. Especially the "someone else's reloads" part. You have no clue as to what your getting. A case full of 231 may cause a quick-disassembly of your weapon.

9mm bullets are to fragile to work in the 357 sig different bullet construction is used for the increased velocity.
and to add to the already good advice. A 65gr 9mm bullet would be a god awfull short round and they loaded into a bottleneck case , neck tension and setback would be a big concern.
I know 9mm Gold Dots and .357 SIG Gold Dot's are very much different in appearence alone. I know there is construction differences too.
If I were going to use a 9mm bullet to test with, I'd want a 115gr FMJ ;f Can you say penetration ? ;e I'd be shooting cars and engine blocks that I have around here...lol
Well let’s see:
Manufacturing ammo for profit without license.
Mailing ammo in USPS Mail (+over state border).
The postal inspector and the ATF will have both of you guys (if you find someone dump enough to do this for you) for breakfast!
Then it is very dangerous to trust someone else with his loads.
Why?

I always ship UPS Ground.
I guess the bullets won't work right in the .357 cases.
so...
i'll quit before this gets worse.

Some unscrupulous person might have taken you up on the offer.
You can take comfort in the knowledge that we're more interested in your safety than we are in turning a fast buck.
Very good point, Someone might have used him to start a Glock .357 KB! story.

Intrested in why you want 65 grainers and only 20 on them...
It sounds like the RBCD stuff to me. You know, the magic bullets?

why are you going to all that trouble? - rbcd offers a 60 grain 357 sig load claimed at over 2400 fps - just a credit card away

I wouldnt mind a max speed 357 sig load..... but I sure as heck am not interested in that magic "bimetalic" fragmenting bullet from RBCD.
give me a bullet turned from a piece of brass rod or solid cast zinc that wont deform, and push it out the barrel at 2400 fps (60 grains) or 1800 fps (95 grains).
on another note - when is McNett gonna a do a 1800 fps 95 grain fmj 357 S load?
- he already offers a 2000 fps (6" bbl) 9x25 load

I know he is real close to letting the .357sig 115gr and 147gr Gold Dot hit the streets. Maybe we can talk him in to it. I would not mind a 115gr FMJ myself.

But none of those flat point things. Something fun to test penetration with ;a
Yep, running this round from a Glock 35 conversion barrel should yield some interesting numbers. From the testing I have done with Mikes 125gr Gold Dot I am guessing (conservatively) it will be in the 1750fps+ neighborhood. That would make for a nice penetrator IMO.
