Ruger 22LR???

This is what I'm looking for:
A 10/22 that will last for ever while I use it for squirrel and target shooting. Something that looks really nice, hold up to long walks in the woods and thickets, and be a little tac driver. Figure you guys would be the ones to ask,,, any info. would be great. The only thing I don't want is a heavy barrel, due to the fact I plan on walking alot with this little beut.

I don't own one but I know there are a lot of options for this gun. My nephew in Maine, in his mid 20's has had one for years and has put thousands of rounds through his. He always carries it in the woods and loves it. I think you can get one with a folding stock to the nice woodgrain models to the polymar type tough plastic stocks. You should have a lot to choose from.
