My buddy has one and loves it. Him and his wife have "issues";) on who carries it in deer season.

I have one of these and my only complaint is that it doesn't want to feed a SWC style bullet. I haven't done anything about finding out just why but I'm sure it can be corrected.

My brother has had one for a number of years. The only problem he has with his is that his teenagers fight over who will use it each year! My brother has got to use it exactly once, (he simply had to "pull rank" ;) in order to get it that day).

He has a half-a-house full of other suitable guns for deer hunting but everyone in his house has figured out that the little carbine kills deer as well as anything else while being lighter and easier to pack all day. Typically as his kids grew they each in succession wanted to "move up" to a more "powerful" rifle for deer season. And after a year or two of carrying the heavier, bulkier, rifles they realized the only thing they had "gained" was about two pounds of rifle weight.

Needless to say, my brother has been extremely happy with his!
