Try the Kramer IWB#3 (http://www.kramerleather.com/productDetail.cfm?productID=7&categoryID=23) it will not feel loose at all.

For OWB Galco concealable @ usgalco.com
or
For IWB Sparks Haritage @ miltsparks.com
I utilize two holsters. Both feel very different. The first, and most favored, is my Fobus paddle holster. Some will bash the Fobus line, but it stays put, has incredible retention, won't mar the finish, is extremely light, and mine cost less than $10.00 when I ordered it from keislersonline.com. It's olive drab, but who cares.
The second holster I use is a belt slide from Blackhawk. It fits well, is light, and secures the pistol adequatly.
I might get slammed for this, but when it comes to holsters, I'll take function over form any day. I could have spent $100 plus dollars on a horsehide or sharkskin holster, but for the money I saved by going with a Fobus and/or Blackhawk rig, I got a great belt from wildernesstactical.com out of Phoenix which I believe, is superior to ANY leather belt for concealed carry and comfort. It's all about preference. Again, just my humble opinion.

Kydex paddle holster from blackhawk for me! Adjustable retention is a big plus for me.

I have a milt sparks VM2 holster which fits like a glove. It's a leather Inside Waist Band holster. I can't rave enough about it.

Personally I prefer the Comp-Tac CTAC. Very comfortable.

foley, have you tried a milt sparks VM2? I had a ctac before i had the vm2 and i didn't like the ctac, but i forced myself to think it was good because tons of other people had loved theirs. Finally i gave up and went to leather and VM2 and i'll never look back.

I used Fobus Paddle Holster.... NO complaints as of TODAY !!
I'll throw in mine, SideArmor IWB. Love it so far.

After reading many, many threads about holsters, I just ordered a Milt Sparks VM2. I'll know if I chose wisely in 16 weeks.

Just picked up the Galco Royal Guard. A Horsehide IWB...works for me.
I have a fobus paddle, which works very nice for me, I also have a galco combat master owb, love it, I have a ctac slide for the 26 and the 19 like it alot, and a couple of don humes that I don't like at all.

Can't go wrong with a Ctac, The gun dosn't "go away", you know its there but its not bothersome, and i like knowing its there.

Milt sparks VM2 is the way to go
I usually buy mine from Lightning Arms sports Craig is very helpful or if he doesn't have any i will order from Topgun
You may pay $25 extra but it beats waiting 16 weeks

I use a Fobus Roto Holster with a Tactical Thigh Rig and it works nice at the range and for patrolling my home, plus I can keep my G21 in a standard belt holster on the same side.
I am leaning towards a SkyCop holster for my G19 and using the Thigh rig for my G21. The SkyCop looks like a really nice cross draw holster.
another vote for milt sparks- i have an executives companion iwb and like it very much

another vote for the kramer #3. I've used one for years, it's the only just right holster I have.
If you do a lot of driving, nothing beats a cross-draw holster. In that case, my vote would be for a DeSantis "Sky Cop" --> http://www.desantisholster.com/068.html
For a go anywhere/wear anything concealed carry holster, I'd recommend the "SmartCarry" --> http://www.smartcarry.com/
CompTac is 100% quality one-piece design.
I have one for my G19 and one for my 1911.

CompTac's CTAC.
Excellent holster.

The SkyCop does look like a nice crossdraw holster. However, it only accomodates belts up to 1 1/4" thick. I always wear a 1 1/2" belt.

RM customs Lowrider IWB. By far the best ive ever used!
To all of you using the CTAC, do any of you tuck your shirt with this holster? I'm currently using a CTAC with my G27 but I've been thinking of switching to a G19 for daily carry.

I own 2 Predator IWB's, one for my G19 and another for my G30.
I also own a C-TAC IWB for my G26.
Either of these two will do just fine.

I carry mine in a "FOBUS" GL2(LH) or a "Walker Tucker" leather holster. The Tucker is very high quality and stays close to my body.
IWB= comptac CTAC
OWB= galco combat master

I carry a 19 or a 36 80% of the non-working time I have. 75% of the time I have my shirt tucked in. I use a CTAC with velcro clips and a Ted Blocker LFI Belt. All I do is "blouse" the shirt over the belt a bit. It hides great.
Good luck and Happy Holidays. :)

The C-TAC "slide" is my favorite G19 accessory. With the slide model, I can carry my G19 or 34, or a 17,17L, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 35, 36 if I ever get em. (according to my C-TAC package)
Kydex is easy to clean and maintain, and is nice and smooth inside for a clean draw. With the C-TAC, you can choose your preferred cant angle, and style of clip that you'll use to secure the holster IWB.
There is also a really deep front sight channel that helps me out a lot.... I've got Ameriglo Ghostrings which have a really tall front sight... scrapes the channel on my fobus.
CompTac also has some pretty quick service. I got my C-TAC a week after I ordered it. :) The C-TAC is an outstanding holster and I'm hapy it was my first holster purchase, other than a fobus paddle.
A VM2 is on my long term wishlist. Don't get me wrong, I think my C-TAC is awesome, but I'd love to get a Sparks VM2 as well. I just had to consider price, wait period, and carry versatility.
IMO, you can't go wrong with a C-TAC.

I've had experience with the Kramer #3 and the Galco Summer Comfort and didn't like either. They made the gun too wide. It's a shame too, because I like the design!
I just ordered a C-Tac for my G36, and bought a used VM2 for my Sig 239. I can't wait to get both and see how they fit me!!

I'm going to order an Alessi cqc/s next month ;a
Which was the thread where someone mentioned that carrying OWB with a kydex holster was a bad idea?
Or does someone knows what was the reason for it?
