Just installed my heinies.......2 1/2 inches high at 50 ft??

Yes thats pretty much it.. Installed my heinie sights on my glock 35 and went out for some fine adjustments. Turns out that the group was shooting 2 1/2 inches high at 50 feet? Has anyone else experienced this problem. I thought I saw something on the heinie web site that said they offered a lower replacement at a reduced cost?? Anyone, anyone, bueller????

Odd, I have a set on my G34 and they are dead on at 25 ft. I just installed a set of Heines on my G21 and they were dead on as well. I have not tried them on my G35 yet since I have some Aro-Tek sights on there that are real low profile and seem to work.

I tried my G21 with the Heines for the first time yesterday and at 25 yards I was all over the place. Sat down on a bench and supported the pistol on a rest and the gun was dead on. Was definitely my shooting ability not the sights.

2.5" at 50 ft. is equivalent to the sights being off approximately .030" on a G35. That is quite a small amount. I know that with my ability I would probably say I'm the problem, but I don't consider myself to be that great a shot.

Again, I think Heinie realized that some of the gun tolerances are different and they expected this cause its on their web site when you order the sights.... Just hoping they can send me a shorter one or I can just grind this one....

You're not alone. That's exactly what happened to me. You must have the original .216 height. Heinie offers two taller fronts .235 and .250. Get the .250 and you'll be good to go. You can buy this from Brownells or from Heinie. ;Y

Heinie is sending one.. Found out the reduced rate was half price... 21.oo with shipping..not bad i guess..
