View Full Version : 15 rd. P85 mags
I asked this in the P95 thread, my old eyes say P85, duh! I have an early P85. I could find 15 rd. mags on Ruger's website, only 10 rd. Does anyone know if Ruger still makes 15 rd. mags for it?
i doubt they currently make 15 rnd mags for you p 85 since they no longer make that handgun.

You can find mags for the P85/89 at just about anywhere that sells Pistol accessories.

I have not checked it for a few weeks but I have seen them here before.
Thanks 2ndamd, I'll look there. I was at my buddie's gun shop, none of his dealers carried Ruger 15 rd.

Ruger makes 15rounders...
Though I've been to many gunshops and retailers and they only stock 10's.. makes me wonder if those are still the ban mags and they are waiting to clear them out...;)
They are $40 on Ruger's website ;g
check Cabela's they have 10 rd mags and 15 rd, and I ordered a 20 and 30 rd mag for my PC9
Ruger factory mags are too expensive IMO. I buy Mec-Gar for Ruger pistols and have never been dissapointed.
ruger factory mags cost more but my buddies p-89 will not funtion properly with off brand 15.go on and buy 3-4 at 39 ea. and be done with it.i just bought 4 15 round mags for my glock g31.25 ea for the real deal glock mags.good deal imo.
I have seen 15 round mags on several websites and there ia quite a range in prices. I think about $12.00 was the lowest cost I remember seeing. I just received two 30 round mags from http://www.sportsmansguide.com but I have not taken them to the range yet to see if they actually work. Cost was quite inexpensive - about $13.00!

I wooould love to have a Ruger Semi-Auto in 40 S&W or 10MM but, because Ruger made their magazines so you can/could get only 10 rounds in them I refuse to buy anything but their MK-II's.

MADISON, 11 round Ruger .40 S&W mags are available. Still a pretty small capacity compared to the size of a P91/P944. On the other hand, my KP944 makes a great range/nightstand gun. :)

Mecgar makes 17 rounders for around 20 bucks that fit flush with the bottom of the grip. They work great in my P93DC. I believe you can get them at Midway and Midsouth shooters supply.
