I was wondering if there are any known LE agencies that issue the USP. I think ME State Police was one of them. Any others?

what do you mean by known? as in BIG city, like NY and LA (which are Glock departments...)
Warrensville Heights, OH and Strongsville, OH both issue .45 HK USPs.

Washington State Patrol issues USP40F and USP40C.
Many German agencies issue it as well as the German Armed Forced as the P-8 for full size USP 9 and P-10 as the compact. The differences are they feature conventional rifling, reversed safety/decock ala the Walther P-38 and the P-10 has a bobbed hammer.
The PD in the relatively small town (50K) I live in just switched over to the USPc .40 from older S&W 9mm autos.
Nice to see a small town outfitted with 1st class weapons! :)

Does anyone know, of the departments that issue the USP are there any of the suppliers that are running delas for LE personal purchase?
I know Leedway is doing the 40 for $510. But I'm looking for a fullsize .45 for duty use.

Winnebago County (IL) Corrections is issued the USP .45. I'm not sure what the road deputies are issued.
A dealer I talked to today who sells LE guns as well said it has been impossible for him to find any USP .45's.
Chesapeake, Virginia uses the USP 40, fullsize and compact in variant 1 config.

Plymouth, NC --> USP-C .45
Gaston County, NC --> USP .45
Gastonia City, NC --> USP .45
Albemarle County, VA --> USP-C .40

Just want to clarify that LA is not completely a Glock department. Glocks are authorized by LAPD but must be purchased by the officer. Beretta 92 is still the issue sidearm of the LAPD. The LA Sheriffs are also issued the Beretta 92 but are authorized the HK USP 45 as well.
You'll see HKs in departments that allow officers to choose their sidearms. I've seen many smaller city LEOs with HKs in their holsters around here.

according to the gunsmith right across the street from the wendell pd, the HK usp .45 full size.
he said they got the money from a drug bust, and went with the best. all that coming from a dyed in the wool 1911 guy. he was telling me this as he was mounting night sights on my usp tac .45 and my friend's usp full size .45
I know Santa Babara county, Ca issues the USP in .40.
Washington State D.O.C. issues USP Compact 9MM for Community Corrections Officers.
Washington State D.O.C. also uses the full size 9mm and .45 USPs. The Clark County Sheriffs office in Washington State uses USPs as well.
