I am posting on both the Sig board and this board.
I carry and love the P2K but also a gun fanatic fondness for Sigs. I have a P229 and have owned 2 prior 239 (always kick myself after trading them). I have a P2K sk presently in addition to the P2K both in 40SW.
I am seriously considering the P239 Sig SAS with the DAK trigger.
Does anyone have any experience with both the LEM type trigger and the DAK. Pro or Con on either? Any noticeable differences?
I appreciate the input.

OK here goes. I own a sig p229 with the dak trigger in .40 s&w. I had difficulty with the pistol at first. Mostly due to the caliber more than the trigger i feel. I would shoot my g19 and i could see myself improving. When id shoot the sig i was mostly frustrated. I wanted the sig to be my carry weapon so I practiced and practiced and practiced with the sig. I also took lessons from and instructor. After a while I was able to shoot the sig as accurately as my g19. Today I went to the range with a "borrowed" p2000 .40 v2. I dont know if it is because i have more trigger time now than i had when i first bought my sig, but i shot the hk very, very, well. My groups were tight from the beginning and really tightened up when i really concentrated on the resistance in my grip and having a good stance. I shot 100 180 grain reloads through it without a hitch and the recoil was not big deal at all. (maybe because i have been shooting .40 alot maybe not) It was a little snappier than my heavier sig but no where near as snappy as the g23 i have shot. I dont think you could go wrong with either weapon. If you are like me you will most likely end up with both.

I've shot both.
The Sig DAK is extremely well built and feels good in the hand. It is a fine pistol.
However, the DAK reset is LONG. I mean LONGGGGG. The trigger pull itself isn't too bad, but it is a relatively long pull and a really long reset.
I have considerable experience using the HK LEM trigger on both the Compact .40 and the Compact .45. My .40s are the stock LEM, whilst my Compact .45 had the lighter 6.5 pound spring installed at the factory. After I had that work accomplished, I sent the .45 out to an HK gunsmith for trigger polishing and smoothing. I also asked the gunsmith to lighten the trigger pull on this particular weapon.
If you lighten the Compact .45 LEM trigger less than the stock 6.5 pound pull you run a very high risk of light primer strikes. This happened to me, and we had to go back to the factory pull weight to preclude this. After the switch back to the factory spring/pull weight, the problem disappeared.
I find the HK has a long initial take-up and a much shorter trigger reset. This, for me, allows me to be much more accurate and fast than the Sig DAK trigger.
The HK is also extremely well made. I'm a 1911 kind of guy and that is my preferred off duty carry weapon. My HK .40 is my duty weapon. If I'm not carrying my 1911s off duty, I carry my HK Compact .45. A FINE weapon.
Hope this helps.
