Looking for a comfortable IWB holster for a 45 USPc. I carry strong side, just behind the hip.
Is there a VM2 (or equivalent) for HK?
Thanks.

I love mine, I can wear it all day with an 45c and not even know it is there. www.blade-tech.com 10-24-2005, 11:23 I would like input on this as well, as I just picked up a USPc 45. But what holster for short time frame carry, such as only an hour or so? mbsigman 10-26-2005, 00:41 I've found the Milt Sparks VersaMax II to be the best IWB out there. I like the Comp Tac IWB for kydex, but on my body frame I found (the hard way) that the kydex does not have any 'give' and this gets uncomfortable for me especially if I'm driving anywhere with it. Lightning Arms Sports carries the VersaMax in stock and their service is nothing short of terrific. Being able to configure makes a big diffence to match the combination to each person. buddyRoland 10-28-2005, 09:06 Originally posted by EYESOFTEXAS Looking for a comfortable IWB holster for a 45 USPc. Took 1.5 weeks to here but it was worth the wait. The holsters are nice leather. I bought one IWB (M-8) for my USP9c and one OWB (M-12) for my G30. Should have purchased two IWBs because they fit better. http://www.regwebdesign.com/m8.jpghttp://www.regwebdesign.com/m12.jpg ronin_asano 10-30-2005, 20:39 the blade-tech iwb with the pull the dot loops is a great choice. idpa, legal too. JesS2K 11-01-2005, 12:46 Highly reccomend Comp-Tac kydex products, made by order, thin and strong, comfortable, affordable. I got mine within 3 days after ordered! and I like it more than leather products. atlp99 11-01-2005, 19:46 I carry my fullsized USP in a Ctac from comptac. I carry all day everyday except when I am in school. Very thin holster, kydex adds little thickness to the gun, also Kydex protects the finish from sweat. There are days where I come home from work and I am soaked through from sweat, and the inside of the holster is dry. Leather would be soaked through. Four_T_Five 11-02-2005, 17:28 Here is my recommendation. The Andrews Leather McDaniel II. It will NOT close when the gun is drawn, you can get it open-top, w/ a body shield, or a thumb break. It comes with two of three (you choose) size belt loops and the loops are infinitely adjustable in terms of angle. Also, the loop is behind the weapon, pulling it in close to the body. This is the holster I use for all my guns (including the HK USP45C). http://www.andrewsleather.com/macdaniel2.htm 13.45 11-02-2005, 18:46 milt sparks offers several excellent choices for iwb carry crash141 11-02-2005, 21:10 I've been reading this thread with interest, since i'm a relatively new at concealed carry. I ordered a Milt Sparks VM 2 for my USPc .40 yesterday from Lightning Arms Sports. I should have it in the mail either tomorrow or friday. I called Milt Sparks directly and they said it would take 12-14 weeks. It was a little more expensive, but if i can get it that quickly, it's worth the extra bucks. GlockShmock 11-03-2005, 19:23 Fist makes a nice clip on IWB similar to the Brigade shown above but about 20 bucks cheaper....and like the Brigade model, it's two pieces of leather sewn together which makes for a flatter profile than a one piece rounded...and you can also get the same model in regular or ultra thin kydex... www.gunnersalley.com http://www.parkcitiestactical.com/album/00000364/fist.JPG vBulletin® v3.7.3, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. | ![]() |
