For those of you interested don't forget the 2005 Calif State IDPA Championship is this weekend at Prado Shooting Park in Chino, Ca. More info is available at www.prado.com

I see that you are going to be there. Looks like Taran signed up as MM in ESP, should be no problem to beat him right?????? ;) Bringing any Barrels to sell?

Well, technically speaking, Taran is a MM... having only shot a couple of IDPA matches, and he was DQ' at the Nationals!

Taran won't be tough to beat if you do things the way they did them at the Nationals. Just have a meeting of the SOs after the match is over and call him on the telephone a couple of days later to tell him he's DQ'd. ;f
they did not Dq him at the match?? Now, that is BS.

We are, like, totally, from California, and, for sure, no one, gets DQ’d after the match. It’s like surfing, either you wipe out, or you make it to the sand. I mean, what, are you a Democratic, or what???

Actually Taran Butler won his divison ESP master and Michael Voigt won CDP master. Overall ranking Taran Butler came in first and Michael Voigt came in 3rd. Attached is the list of the top 50 competitors that participated in the California State Championship.

You guys should all be DQ'd just for living in Kalifornia.
I actually love living in this State. However the Politicians and some of these gun laws make it a possibility that I might move someday.
I shot MM SSP and had a blast. Won a cool 5.11 Vest at the raffle.
What is the story behind Taran being DQ'd at the national match?
