View Full Version : IPSC Production Holster
I am looking for a new IPSC Production holster for my Glock. I would like something that places the gun lower than my current paddle holster. I would also like a holster that works with both the G17 and G34 and has enough sight releif so that my Heinies do not scrape the inside. I prefer a holster that is either adjustable or has no cant.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Mark
bladetech DOH or the super hooper ( www.kytac.com)
remember if you are shooting IPSC ( but you are in GA) they do not have any restrictions as far as holster. Race holsters are OK but if you shooting USPSA, the DOH and kytac super hooper are pretty popular.
I use a tucker gun leather speed-slide holster.

I used to use a Bladetech DOR, be careful with the 50mm rule, it may not be legal.
I now use a CompTac locking paddle.
another vote for the Bladetech

Another Vote for Comp-Tac. One of the better holsters I have ever used!
Sidearmor modular holster. It's kydex, adjustable cant, and very deep sight channel. I also saw a Wilson Combat holster in a gun magazine that looks promising.

I've got the Kytac for my G35. By design it rides pretty high, but you can have it customized to sit lower. Very fast holster by the way. The Blade Tech DOH seems to be the most popular for whatever reason.

Dave Sevigny uses a Ky-Tac holster if it matters ...
As cousin BulM540 said, pretty much anything goes for holsters in IPSC production. It's unlikely you'll find a match under those rules though. USPSA production holster rules are more restrictive.

Cen-Dex made me a fine holster called a "Lo' Boy" and it sits lower. It fits a G34 and a G17. I bought it in clear.;f
KyTac is nice.
Bladetech is nice.
Safariland 5186 is really nice. ;)
