I saw a good deal on a G20 at a show $575 with night sights, plug, SS recoil rod, and a stainless 6" barrel. The barrel had no manufacturer markings other than an 'E' on the lower portion on one side. I figure the whole package is a good deal, but I am not sure about the barrel. I don't want something that will blow up or have crappy accuracy.

The unmarked barrel is probably either a Federal or a EFK Firedragon (sp?).... both good barrels that would be as accurate or more so than factory bbl.

Thanks Nick. I just wanted to make sure it could handle the hot stuff. Hopefully it can. Otherwise, does that sound like a fair deal for the whole package?

A used G20 could probably go for about 450-500, the barrel probably costed about 90 (if its a Federal) or a little more (EFK). The guiderod and plug are maybe 20-30 total, new. I'd say its a pretty good deal. Offer them 50 less and work up.
