Just out of curiosity does anyone happen to know how many .357s were produced before the 3rd gen frames came out? I bought one of the early ones and I have been wondering for a while how many there were.

I have one also, it took over a year for me to find one. I was told by the area rep from Glock that there was about 125 made and sold, that it was a very rare model. I don't have any info to back this up or know how true it is, but I have only seen the one that I have in the last 2 years. I don't like the 3rd gen pistols grip. The other hard one for me to find was a 1gen M17 with the mags serial numbered to the pistol. That was much easier than the M32 though.

Here is mine. I bought it new in Feb 98. I too have wondered about how many were made--in fact, that is what my very 1st post on GT was about. Got about 7000 rds thru it, and just shot my 3rd GSSF match with it in Lexington, KY last weekend.

There were a few in Winter 97-98.

I personally owned 5 different ones. So I would say more than 125 were made. I even had one that just said .357 on the slide. That is really rare! Sold all of them.;g
