1)Russian SKS in exc. condition with rare red wood stock, black bayonet-Tula armory 1952.
2)Swedish Mauser model 38-VG.
3)MAS 36 in .308 caliber-good+.
Thanks-Charles
i work PT in a C&R gun shop, the prices im gonna list are what these guns normally sell for, not what the books say about them.
i would prolly expect to get $200-$300 for the russian sks, although i have seen people asking up to $700 for them. they are going by the IOTOS rule (it only takes one sucker) in my experience, they never sell for more than about $300 tho.
the swede, without seeing it, would have to say b/w $150-$250
sorry, dont know a thing about frenchie guns
1) Russian SKS. The red lacquer on the stock is standard. You've got a run-of-the-mill refurb'd Tula 1952 which isn't rare or has any special collector interest. These normally sell around $250, maybe a little more with a laminate stock. A lot of sellers have delusions and ask $385+ (looking for that perfect sucker).
2) Da Swede... $100-$180
3) MAS... $150-$200
you guys are pretty much on the money with the sks but the swede has to be upwards of $300 if you can even find any - from a dealer that is.
depends on the condition, i was trying to give a sight unseen idea. sold one in the shop i work at for $300 that looked unissued the other day.

Thanks. I thought the Russian was rare because I've never seen one just like it. Appreciate the info.
Charles
Assuming the Swede M38 was all matching (short of the cleaning rod), had at least 75% of the bluing, and muzzle looked good, it could easily fetch at least $300. Most good examples of M38s go for about $350 and up.
If I saw one for $200-$225, it would be because it didn't have all matching parts.
