I was looking at SOG's website and noted that they have .303 martini-Henrys(enfields) for sale for around $400. I started thinking about it and wondered about turning one into a 45-70 rifle? How easy can this be done, What needs to be changed. Or are 45-70's already availible in not so sporterized configurations? Is the action good. Pros Cons etc etc....who knows i might just leave it in .303 if i like it
Have you ever owned one, Whats it like, What kinda accuracy are we talking about here?

I'm telling you man, stick with what you have for now...You're not allowed to buy it for another two months anyways...You have plenty that'll shoot faster and farther, are easier to feed (commercial ammo), and more accurately than a 45-70...but it is a .45 rifle...haha

I said nothing against the 45-70, I just said you don't need one now. Too many irons in the fire...
