22 caliber occassional jam

Does anyone know buying 22 ammo in bulk, and not buying it in neatly contained containers would make any difference as to making a rifle jam or should it not make any difference if the shells are just thrown in a box.....every so often I get a jam...........

I have found the problem in my 22 Glenfield Model 60, according to gunsmith, there was a design problem when the gun was made, so I had to order a conversion kit....Thanks for all who answered up....
