I'm looking at building one of these (the single shot .45 LC/.410). My question is about connecting the breech face to the side plates. I know they can be welded (preferred method) or brazed, but I don't have access or the skill to really do either of those. I'm wondering if soldering the joints would be suffice or if not, what kind of bracket can I implement to connect the breech face to the side plates? Anyone have any experience or suggestions? Thanks.
