Anyone else had slow responses from Double Tap lately?
I've called 2 times and left messages, to check on the status of my order, because it still just says "pending" on the webpage, but with no return call, plus I never got my account registeration email from them either.
Just curious if this is SOP, or if somethings not quite right.
I'm really looking forward to the ammo, all that's available around here is wimpy factory loads. The shop I got my 20 at only had some cheesy stuff with a muzzle velocity of 1050... I didn't even know a 10 mm could move that slow ;g
Thanks in advance

I had the same problem with Double Tap. I didn't get any response and I finally got my ammo on the 26th that I ordered on the 10th.
Just don't depend on it getting there quick and don't believe the confirmation emails that you get as they are wrong, too.
The ammo is amazing and worth the wait. My advice is going in with some buddies and buying 1000 rounds so that you get free shipping. That is what I'm doing now.
I was furious when my ammo didn't get here when I was told it was, but it's worth it. The equalizer load is awesome. I really like the 180 gr match ammo, too.
Hope this helps, but I know you want your ammo to go shoot.
After we finished the move 300 miles to the south, we were quite understaffed. I had to put on a lot of hats while we hired on some new people and put in 100+ hrs a week to keep things running. We are pretty much caught up. Try another phone call, we only have two people answering telephones until I can hire two more. You are also welcome to ask for me (Mike), if I don't answer the phone, and I can personally help you out.

Great ammo, 1000+ rounds and not one misfire. shelf ammo around here I usually get 3 misfires out of a box of 50! I just placed another order with mike about 5 mins ago, for 1100 rounds lol, yes im nuts haha. I had called earlier this week also, but got no response. Being a business owner just like Mike I know how things can get, so I did what I like my customers to do cut the chit chat and give me some work to do, haha.
Hey Mike I left you some questions in the comment feild, check em out!

I just shot 2 boxes of 180 gr through my G29 today with no problems. My diehard 1911-fan-friend even complimented me today when he shot my gun. Rather he complimented the ammo. He said "This s--t is hot, I like that". So if I could get him to admit that, it really tells me something.
I'm sorry for raising a ruckous on other forums Mike, but I do a lot of business online, and am extremely critical of those who do bad business. I understand your situation, and after all, I will keep buying my ammo from you. That should say it all.
BTW Mike, is it free shipping for 1000 rounds of whatever? Or does is have to be of a certain type?
Chao! (I said it in Spanish, not Italian, so don't give me that 'Ciao' b.s.)
Shipping is free on ALL order of 1,000rds or more.

Mike,
Could I get some kind of response about the 180gr lead bullets I had sent to you.I am not getting responses from phone messages or e-mails,and it has been quite a while.I understand you have been busy.180gr flat front custom bullet from Mt. Baldy bullets.
I've noticed that it does seem to take awhile to get to me. Still, its the only ammo I would ever carry and certainly the only that I will trust my life to at this moment. Good job Mike!
