First I want to say that the Double Tap 125 grain Gold Dot is my favorite 357 Sig load,, PERIOD !! It's a stout, bad ass load. I have problems though with my G31 shooting good tight groups with it. On the other hand my P226 357 loves the DT Gold Dots. They shoot point of aim. My G31 seems to like the Winchester 125 Ranger T load best. It shoots it point of aim just about every shot, so does my P226 with the Rangers. I haven't found anything yet that my 226 doesn't like. I quess that proves that every gun is different in what ammo it prefers. I have my P226 loaded with the Double Tap 125 Gold Dots and my G31 loaded with the 125 Ranger T. Mike, I'll be placing and another order shortly for more 125 Gold Dots.

I wonder whats causing the deviation in your Glock with the 125gr. loadings? My G33 shoots POA with Mike's 125gr. load.

Don't know. I've noticed that it does the same thing with Corbon 125 gr JHP. Maybe it doesn't like higher velosity loads. It groups fine with the Ranger T's and Speer 125 gr Gold Dots. My P226 357 will just about put them all in the same hole no matter what brand ammo. The DT loads shoot POA with the Sig.
The Glock 31 I used for testing on this ammo shot POA with mikes loads. No problems at all and could print 1" to 4" groups depending on distance. I also read something about the Glocks getting more velocity with just about all ammo than Sigs. I think it has to do with the barrels rifling.

I don't know, guess it's the gun. It's been picky on what kind of ammo it likes ever since I've had it. My Sig will just about drive nails with anything. I've also heard that the Glocks get more velosity because of their rifling. I chronographed the DT Gold Dots last year with my G31 and got 1578 fps. When I get some time I'm going to chrono them with my P226. Think my glock is just hardheaded !! Like me.
Yea, I averaged the same load at between 1550fps and 1590fps. Gotta love DT making the round it was meant to be. Love it!

I think the DT loads bring out what the 357 Sig should be. I probably won't get quite as much velosity out of my Sig as I did the Glock. I e mailed Mike last week and he said that soon he will be loading the 125 gr Gold Dots in nickel cases.

CAT, try a new recoil spring and guide rod. Nothing fancy, just stick with the OEM.

Already tried that. I've got a stainless guide rod and recoil spring and it shoots the same. I know it's not me because I can take either of my Sigs and shoot straight as a board. I've owned several other Glocks and they shot just as good as my Sigs. My G31 shoots fine with ammo it likes.

My 31 prefers Hornady 147gr. XTP's in the accuracy department, however, I haven't had the opportunity to try any of the new Double Taps. Has anyone tried the 147's out? I am interested in feedback about this round in particular. ;c
