Should I let a gunsmith do the installation, or am I safe in trying it myself....if so, pitfalls?
Thanks!

The only real pitfall, if you do have the proper toold for the job, is that it is quite possible to rupture one or all of the vials that contain the tritium while driving the sights into place with a punch.

Thanks a million! I'll let the gunsmith do it.

Nah, just buy the tools. You'll be set for life. Under $100 , you'll have them and you can install your buddies' Glock sights for beer. Just throwing that out there.

And you can adjust the rear sight if necessary. And you can replace the sights whenever you like. The MGW installation tool (http://www.topglock.com/catalog/tools.htm) is excellent.
