It's great to see a coherent and concise review:

Thanks for the heads-up; Quinn's writing is always worth a read. :)

Good read. Thanks!
I'd like to see McNett's comments on the 230 gr. DT round having trouble during their test.

Thanks for the heads up....
Wonder how those Glasers would work on snakes?
The reptile kind with forked tongues...scales...slither....etc

IIRC Mike has always said that fouling with the lead ball was not a big problem, but I think he may have had a caveat about shooting a reasonable number of EQ rounds & making sure you have a clean / oiled barrel.
Im wondering if what happened is he shot a bunch of EQ thru a dirty gun & experienced a bit of leading?
how many rounds total did he fire since the last cleaning before getting to the EQ, we know he had 3 EQ rounds that gave him problems, how many rounds of EQ total did he fire?
I would be curious to see how well 50 rds of EQ would run thru that same G20 AFTER the author cleans it..... if he still has hiccups
seems a shame to not at least talk w/ Mike before posting his experiences (if that is indeed what happened here)..... I hope he posts a update if the problem was indeed lead buildup due to a dirty unoiled chamber
or maybe even better - perhaps he should do an article about his (pending?) "250 round evaluation of the 230 grain Doubletap Equalizer"
as part of that writeup he might take it to an IDPA match (score that target byatch!), go shoot feral dogs and / or small pigs, & have a chart w/chrono data
whatever the case - it will be interesting to hear what Mike thinks.

Thanks Gentlemen, for the kind words.
JoeSnuffy,
I have used .380 Glasers in years past on several snakes, and usually cut them in half. I have not tried the 10mm however on the reptillian creatures.
Mr. Phillips,
I am a bit confured by this comment of your:
"or maybe even better - perhaps he should do an article about his (pending?) "250 round evaluation of the 230 grain Doubletap Equalizer"
I made no mention of a pending 250 round evaluation of any ammo at all. I believe that Double Tap makes the best 10mm ammo available, and only reported my experiences with this one particular Model 20. To quote:
"All loads tested performed very well. The only problem encountered was with the Double Tap Equalizer 230 grain load. Three times during testing the slide failed to go completely into battery with that load and that load only. A gentle tap on the rear of the slide popped it into battery. Everything else fed, fired, and ejected flawlessly. The Equalizer load might have just been a fluke with this particular pistol, and I would certainly try it in other pistols before making a judgment either way."
One more quote of yours that leaves me a bit confused is the last part of this sentence:
"as part of that writeup he might take it to an IDPA match (score that target byatch!), go shoot feral dogs and / or small pigs, & have a chart w/chrono data"
There is a chronograph chart listing each of the eighteen loads tested.

Another excellent read from Gunblast.
However, does this mean I'm part of a cult now?
