I completed a .25 trigger job on my G-35 but now notice copper color showing on the Extractor Depressor Plunger Spring where it touches the Extractor. Have I polished too much or is this normal? Need to replace it?
Thanks
Dear Gold2125,
The coloring you are seeing is the gun gods way of telling you that you should really be shooting a Colt.

No, they have infinite patience, the ones left behind have no patience.
Let me rephrase-

Or their hobbies.
So very true.
I'm off to bed now. Will talk to you later.

Well Hell, since this has turned into the Iowa chat room I figured I may as well join in the fray.;f
I'm not sure what part of the .25 trigger job could be attributed to a discoloration of the extractor depressor plunger spring. Seems like it might be a fluke that it coincides with the .25 job. I don't think I'd worry to much about it either so long as the spring seems to be in adequate shape otherwise.

The discolored part is where the plunger touches the extractor. Thanks for the help.
+1 for an Iowa chat room !!
Where abouts you at Glock4life?
Of course if we did have an Iowa chat room, gold2125 would hog all the space.
We wouldn't be able to get a word in edgewise.
RIGHT WAYNE ?? ;a ;a ;a

Of course.
It is normal if you need to stone and polish deep enough to get the proper results. This is just Glocks plating layer you are cutting into which is fine as long as it has lube on it to prevent rust, and these parts are always well lubed.
