well i did it. i traded in my G17 today. I love glocks but the dam grip is to bulky and felt like a 2X4 in my hands. after looking at a sig 239 and the HK p2000 I bought the HK. Its a V2 and i cant wait to take it to the range tommorow. The DAO trigger feels good, smooth with a crisp break and I fugure it will only improve with the break in.

Nice! GIve us a range report!
The P2000 is wider than the Glock. Maybe elaborate how it feels less 2x4ish. Now the Compact is narrower.

go to your local gun shop hold the p2000 in one hand and a glock 19 in the other and you will see. glock grip is MUCH wider front to back, the difference is the palm swell (back strap)then if you put the small insert in the p2000 well forget about it. not bad talking glocks but for someone with small hands like myself its a big deal.
I did the same thing awhile back, but wound up selling the P2000 and buy another G17. P2000 was an awsome weapon, I just like the consistency of the Glock trigger (not a big fan of double/single action).

You should have done the LEM conversion then, the LEM is far smoother than the glock trigger.
I thought about that but never actually tried one. What is the wteight of the trigger pull on the LEM trigger?

i have the LEM trigger (p2000 V2) and it is smooth and the break is much crisper than my glock was. my glock break felt mushy. it also has a very short reset for quick follow up shots. its a little heavy 7.5 lbs i think. but you can reduce it to 5.5 by replacing 2 springs 9$ for parts.
