Which Followers

Which followers do I need for my G17/19/34 to run HPs reliably with 10rd magazines?

I think you'll need #4 followers.

I believe that #5 followers won't fit because the mag body is different.

9mm3's or 4's will be fine.

No 5's because of the mag body design difference.

I am thinking about swapping out my 2183-1 followers but so far the magazines have been run well with JHPs.

For the #3 and 4 followers do I contact Glock for these?

You can try that, or just buy 9mm4 followers from Glockmeister, Lone Wolf, etc., or go to a GSSF match and ask the armorer.

dont mean to hijack the thread or anything, but will my 26 eat JHP's smoothly with the #5 follower my new 26 came with?

what's the difference in mag body design? I swapped out a couple of mags fitted with the #4 follower with the #5 and they clicked in pretty well. Havent tried shooting with them yet. Am I to expect feeding problems with either hollowpoint or ball ammo?

Then I guess you can't put a #5 follower in a gen 4 mag body. The 9mm5 follower has a nub that corresponds with another nub on the inside lining of the gen 5 mag body.

In my G19 I had the 2183 followers in my 10 rd mags. Per a TC with Glock CS, either 9mm3 or 9mm4 followers will work fine.

They sent 9mm3 followers and they feed everything just fine. I can't say if they are appropriate for the other G models you listed.
