I saw one of these the other day and wondered if Kel-Tec could make one chambered in 10mm that took Glock magazines, since they already made them in 9mm and .40 that took either Glock or Beretta mags. Although I believe they are now out of production, I would love to have an inexpensive 10mm carbine that took mags I already have. Add to that the very many positive reports from owners despite the fact that they are cheap and ugly as well as the fact that it folds up for compact carry: can you say ultimate woods carry carbine? I know it's not going to happen, but these were selling for round $250, for that price, it is almost disposible after use. I just wish there were other 10mm carbine alternatives out there besides the MechTech conversion, the Olympic Arms 10mm and the $1400 Vector Arms MP5/10.

G20. S&W 610 Classic. Colt Delta Elite. G20L. Vector MP5/10 SBR on the way. That's it. I'm done.
Sorry, no, I would not buy a Sub2000 in 10mm.
Well, keep hoping I win the lottery. If so, I am going to put myself through gunsmithing school and become the 10mm gunsmith, and.... figure out a way to fill the niche market of an acceptable 10mm carbine, perhaps with optional mag wells that will allow for glock magazines, and maybe grease gun mags?
I can dream can't I?;f

A friend of mine bought one in .40 s&w. In my opinion, it was garbage. The trigger was the worst I have ever seen. Not only was it heavy, but the geometry was off and it was uncomfortable. It pinched the hell out of my hand and the sights were so low I had to struggle to aim the thing. I would rather just have a pistol over the one I shot.
Probably not.
Have the Olympic AR in 10mm.
Does the job.
YES YES YES BABY HELL YES ABSOLUTELY PoSTIVELY DEFINITELY FOR SURE.
I'm not kidding either.
Yes, I would kill for a 10mm SUB2000 that took G20 mags.

;z Good to see happy people.
Using Glock 10mm mags would be cool.
I could say:
How Cool is that!!

You bet I would... as a matter of fact, I have called KelTec in the past and requested that... was told by "somebody" over there that it wasn't worth redesigning the carbine in 10mm, as it would require a grip change, as well as other engineering to make it stand up to the higher pressure 10mm stuff out there.
Heck with all that, I would have one!! It seems to me to be a great platform for the 10mm round...
I like the KelTec SU-16C that I have, trigger is nicer than most stock AR-15 triggers out there... haven't tried the Sub2000 trigger, but if it is anything like thier pistols, then blech... no thanks.
