Seek out a man locally whom you suppose to be a Free-Mason and ask him about it.You just might thank me for this advice.tom.;)

Hello, I posted a while back looking for Brothers and got a lot of responses. If you need a vote I'm in also. I stumbled on to this but will check back often. Jay P.
Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Shrine
I'm in.
A Fellow Craft now, will be raised in January.
It's good to see the support we have so far for a Blue Lodge forum.
I think we need to get the word out to other Brothers who may not know that we are trying to get this going.
I will be Junior Warden on St John's day next and I am very excited.
I have a lot of memory work to get done soon as well. Wish me luck

You know when we think back on our youth, my time spent in DeMolay, Kinghthood, and in the State line of DeMolay are the best I spent. The fact that I am a memeber of the masonic bodies, is a direct relation to the men that led us as advisors, my dad included.
Let us keep the traditions of this Brotherhood going, by attending our local Lodge, and being active Masons.

Finished my petition, now waiting on birth certificate....looking forward to going my uncles and cousin and a host of friends.
My father was a Mason. He passed away when I was only 8, so he never talked to me about it. Maybe I'll look in to it.
Hey, jetboatdriver. They drive jet boats down your way? I thought I was at the center of the jet boat universe!

You are, mine is not a competition boat, a Yamaha 270HP dual engine.
I haven't gotten it wet in a couple of years, really Jonesin' to get it wet again. Seems life got in the way of play. My son thinks I should change my name to Jetboatparker :animlol:
Ha! Souns like your son has a sense of humor.
I'm retired now, but it used to be that part of my law enforcement job was patrolling the Snake River in Hells Canyon. It was fun, except when it was 110 in the Canyon. My boat was 24' with a single Ford 460, Hamilton 212 pump. Kinda puny by Snake River standards. Now I'm looking at taking part of my retirement money and getting a small (18' or so) jetboat. I just don't know if I can afford to keep one in fuel!
Sorry for hijacking the thread.
Sorry for the late reply but I just found the thread, I'm in, great idea. PM Aiken Lodge 156, Aiken, SC, KCCH, KYCH, AMD, Knight Masons, York Rite College, PP Aiken County Shrine Club.
Folks, as it stands right now, before my post, you've got 34 definite YES votes, and 41 posters. I'll add a vote, obviously, I'm not a Mason, but I am a PGWA and a member of Eastern Star, and my whole family is Masonically affiliated.
The other 7 posters SOUND like they want to vote yes, so I'll check with Eddie or Patricia and see if that counts for you, but you'll still need 8 more then.

Make that 7. I'll help.
Just curious I don't think a lot of people read this area, but for you guys checking back hows membership in your area? We have eight new guys since September and just voted on a couple more, makes for a busy year. Jay in Mass.

Last I knew, we still need about 7 or 8 more people to say they want a Masonic forum before we can get it going. If you know people on GT that are Masons, get them to come here and post a message

I am in for it as long as I don't have to sit in the East AGAIN.
count me in for the vote; not a Mason, but every few months i read about them here on GT and get really curious.
I'm in, On The Level.
Thanks to Lt. Doug for bringing this to my attention. I'd have never known about it otherwise. Awesome Idea. I'll head over to the S&W board to see if anyone would be interested in joining GT to participate in a Blue Lodge forum. There were several freemasons there last time I participated.
How long will it be before someone asks if the "G" stands for Glock? ;)

My application is filled out, waiting to submit (and find time to do the work).
Hopefully that counts as a yes vote.

Hello, I posted a while back about membership in your area. I meant your Lodge.
We have ten new gentlemen since September and two more just voted on. I was curious as to membership in other states or areas.

Okay everyone. I will try to set it up tomorrow afternoon. It will be in the Group-Related Club Forums.
Please someone write a title and description you want written for the Club. Then email or PM it to me. I'm thinking 'Freemasons Club' would work for a title. Then write something like :
'A place to learn and find out about the Freemason's way of life'. Or something similar....

I know I volunteered to push this forward, but I am not a Mason yet, I think one of the others who are should do that part.
Eddie, thanks for taking care of this for us.
Anyone who is MM want to volunteer?
I think there were a few Past Masters posting in here.
Might not be a bad idea to have a PM do it.
I am Junior Warden and can help if need be.
Good job on getting enough votes guys!!!!
