View Full Version : I'm now HK-less... :(
Both P7M8s, the P2000, the USP-C .40 Stainless and the USP .40...all GONE. Some because I wanted to fund other weapons or grew bored, some because I needed to combat debt, and the last one went today to offset the cost of an engagement ring. ;1
I guess I'll need to request a USP-C 9mm as a wedding present. Had I bought one of those to start with, I wouldn't have gone through all the others. I do actually still have an HK91 clone, but I hardly ever shoot it so that needs to go as well.

Sorry to hear about your terrible divorce.;)
What was wrong with the P2000 that a USPc will correct?
I didn't like the .40 in that platform. I shot it and shot it well, carried the USP-C .40 Stainless off duty for about three years. Too much "flip" compared to the others. Not really a problem, just not my favorite.
To my shock, I didn't really care for the LEM trigger in comparison to the DA/SA trigger. The DA still leaves something to be desired but I loved the SA, and I'm a 9mm fan...especially with 115-grain +p+ (or now DoubleTap) ammunition.
obxemt - truly sad, though you'll get them again in time.
One bit of advice - dump that '91 clone ASAP and look to a PTR91 in the future. I used to have one of the cast aluminum receiver rifles a while back and they're absolute POS's compared to the guns from JLD Enterprises. I really don't like knocking another man's equipment (sort of an unspoken etiquette in the gun culture) but trust me, you'll be doing yourself a favor;f

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the P7M8 go for? I'm assuming it was in great condition.
It was in fantastic condition. I sold it ftf for $750. That man got a bargain!

Are you saying you need to get an engagement ring?
bluenile has a good pricing.
Actually I already got the ring locally. I did look at BlueNile and the setting I wanted was only available in platinum instead of white gold. I paid around $300-400 more than I would have from them for a similar ring, but it was sized and came with an appraisal so I was ok with that increase when keeping my money locally, seeing what I was getting, hand picking it and having it warranted. Plus, the lawaway terms couldn't be beat!
By the way, she said yes, and I couldn't be happier! ;f
I don't deserve one this good...well, maybe I do based on my track record in the past! ;P
obxemt,
You sold a perfectly good gun for a woman?;T

Gotta see the woman worth that. You are a brave man obviously deeply in love.;W
