Just curious if ya can get the P99 slide refinished by Walther USA/S&W like Glock does. Glock will reblacken a slide for about $45. Is that service offered for the P99/SW99?
No one knows on the Walther forum website.

The S&W Performance Center does custom gunsmithing, engraving, and finishes... so I would extrapolate that they could refinish your pistol. Give them a call and see what it costs.
A number of local shops have refinished Glock slides and they all look pretty good, depending on your tastes.
