If you don't already have a Bore-Snake, buy one ASAP.
I was skeptical at first, but after several wasted minutes with a bore-brush and patches trying to wipe out the nastiness of my hexagonal barrel, I was willing to give it a try.
I got to try it out today for the first time. After shooting some seriously dirty and cheap ammo, I was able to get factory-level-cleanliness after only 2 passes of the bore-snake. So get one!
