I wonder if I am gunsmith bound... Thought I'd bounce this off of you guys before I call. NIB WSAR-3 from a dealer going outa business, 25% off ya know. Anyway, fired it for the first time today and found that after one to three or four shots the incomming round from the mag got hung up. It invariably was pinned under the bolt with the bullet almost in or in a bit into the barrel, the round tilting upward and as mentioned, was under the bolt and pinned there. The case of the round dented nicely if brass and was scratched if steel (Wolf). This occured in all of the mags, one 10-round steel and one 30-round "bakelight" (or whatever it is, it's brown and not metal) that came with it and two other 30-rounders purchased seperately. I cleaned it well and oiled before going to the range. As far as I can tell with ear protection, the mags clicked into place.
The place purchased from is outa business now, and I'll either send it into the factory or have a gunsmith look at it... Before anything tho, what do you guys think? If ya can't tell, I'm a newbie to anything with a barrel longer than 4.1 inches. ;z
