I've got an LG phone with a memory card. I can move a video file over to the PC, but what stupid format is it in? I've tried renaming it to AVI, MPG, etc. but can't get it to play.
Or is there a program to change the format?

They might be 3g2 files (3gpp2)
Both Quicktime and RealPlayer can handle them.
I think some phones are mjpeg,"motion jpeg" also called "video jpeg".Not many things play it.It's related to webcam video.

It shjows as a 3G2 format, but neither Quicktime nor Realplayer would run it. Now I gotta get rid of that stupid RealPlayer. Again...
Look here, this tool is what I use to encode 3GP videos for my phone : http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=515707

I updated Quicktime to 6.5, and now the videos work. Thanks for the input.
