Yeah but it makes me smile that they've once again got around the anti-gun wackos. I guess 10 rounds is still better than nothing.

Holy sheisters!!
If I lived in Kali and wanted an AR that badly, I'd move out of state.
That thing is such a pitiful option to the real thing.

Yes, it's nice to see another work-around.
That said, I's rather have a G17 and a bag full of 10 round mags than this hack-bastard rifle.
I lived in California for 7 years. I could not wait to leave. I walked into the gun store yesterday to buy my AR-15. 20 minutes later, I walked out with the rifle and 4 30 round mags. No waiting periods. I love living in LA.

I assume LA=Lower Alabama, right? :)
Oh My God!!!
All I can do is to shake my head in disgust.
The way LA is going now, we may be bought out and incorporated my Alabama anyway, so why not!!! :)

May I point out 2 things....
1) WWII was won by USGI's who used the top loading M1 Garand.
2) German Field Marshall Rommel said that the M1 was the reason they (the Nazis) lost.
Even now, a good soldier with an M1 can defeat an average soldier with any of the current "wunder weapons".

On point 1, you are right, of course. But what you are failing to see is you have to break open the rifle and expose the trigger group to dirt that could very well lock up the trigger. Not to mention you can load a Garand a hell of a lot faster than a top loading AR15.
Point 2 has nothing to do with the Garand being a top loader. It was because the Garand had a higher rate of fire and the shooter did not have to lose his grip on the weapon before firing the next shot.

Steve You do realize it's not the 1940's any more, right?
The fact that California keeps its gun owners in the 1940's is okay with you?

The feed lips on that contraption look like a regular magazine trapped in the magwell.
Wonder how the lips would hold up to a lot of shooting, and the takedown pin to repeated in and outs. The takedown pins were never meant to be popped every ten rounds.
Glad PA isn't Californicated.
