Hi folks,
Recently I had the opportunity to buy a well-kept Colt .45 Target pistol. At 350 bucks, a real bargain.
My problem: this gun looks from all angles of view like a veritable Gold Cup, but you cannot find any clue for on it. Slide ist only marked “COLT NATIONAL MATCH AUTOMATIC CALIBER .45
Might it be possible this gun belongs to sort of a pre-Gold Cup series?
Serial # is 116XX-NM.
Any ideas on date of manufacture ?
Many thanks,
