I plan to get a G34 in a week of two and want to know if there is anything I need to do to the gun before I fire it?
I though that I read some place (here maybe) that a person needs to clean it first ;P
Please give me any advice that you think I would need :)
I want to brake my baby in right

Some folks shoot a new Glock as it comes out of the box. Some clean and lube first. Cleaning mostly involves removing the copper-colored anti-seize compound (new Glocks aren't very dirty); lubing means using just a drop of lube on those locations specified in the manual.
I've done it both ways. I don't think it matters much either way, but the anti-seize goo does tend to get on everything, so I have a slight preference for cleaning and lubing before firing. However, it IS a good idea to field-strip your new Glock before shooting it for the first time: for practice, to check for bore obstructions (unlikely), to perform the "safety checks" specified in the manual. and to clean and lube if you so desire.
