Go to that kurzzeit.com and they have a lot of high-speed, slo-mo gun films.
The AK is really cool without the top cover, and the buckshot is fascinating. There is another G18 video there as well.
To those that say Glock frame flex is a myth what do you say now?

A glock frame flexes...soo?
On a tangent, an Indycar is supposed to break apart on impact to dissipate the force transferred to the cockpit area on purpose.
Watch the videos

You gotta wait until halfway through this one but in this accident the chassis did exactly what it was supposed to do.

In both situations the drivers were protected and suffered no serious injuries except for some broken bones and bruises. It may not look pretty and it may seem the opposite of what you thought but the chassis of the car is supposed to break apart like that.
Why do I bring this up...because the Glock frame also does exactly what it is supposed to do to ensure the waepon functions reliably and accuratley. If it flexes while doing so...fine. As long as it doesn't break.;a ;a

That was not a G18. That gun has no factory ports. It is most likely a modified G17

uh...those cars are about half of the technology and safety of a Formula One car. Take Ralph Schumacher's rear end accident into the wall at turn 14 (I think) at Indy in 2004. The entire rear end went bye-bye and he hit a CONCRETE wall at close to 190-200mph. Big difference. Just a fact though as F1 teams spend about 300 million a year on car development and for safety. I guess Senna did not die in vain after all.....

AK rifles flex a lot too during firing. Obviously it's no big deal.

That didn't look like 9mm brass being ejected. I'm pretty sure that was a larger caliber.

I hate to semi-hijack to thread, but the F1 car had better have more technology in it for 15 million when the Indycar costs about 2-3 million...big difference.
As far as safety is concerned I saw the crash that you were referring to. Schumi Jr hit the outside wall at full speed for an F1 car which is roughly 30 miles per hour slower than an Indycar travels around the same corner. Then it took the safety crew about 4 minutes to arrive at the crash scene. Even Derek Daly said that was rediculous. I have seen the Indycar safety crew roll up on a crashed car even before the crashed car had sikdded to a complete stop! I hate to tell you but if an F1 car was in the same situation as Briscoe and went butt first into the fence at those speeds the car would disintegrate and kill the driver, it is not designed for impacts of that nature.
I do however feel it is sad that drivers have to die for things to change...I wish it were different. If it were then maybe Villenueve, Senna, Moore, Krisiloff, Brayton, and others would be around today.
