Hi
I have two G19's-
I got a triggerkit.com set up, and after installation ithe trigger would bind at the end. If I swithched off the slides, both slides worked OK, but now the one slide creates this problem on either frame.
Any idea where the problem lies?
thank you
Richard
Might be the engagement with the lug on the firing pin. I suggest you replace the stock parts and try again.
Doesn't the kit also include a changed striker/firing pin safety plunger? That could also be binding. Try putting the original plunger back in and test it.

HI
I sequentially changed each part. My G19 turns out to be a bit older, and has a flat area on the cross of the trigger bar. This was the problem area. Why it only is a problem with one of the slides must be something to do with the lug, but it is wierd.
Ralph at triggerkit is everything you would want from a vendor. He responded quickly, offered help and understanding, and has advised me he will swap the parts out for me.
thanks for the help
Richard
This is interesting because I have a G-19 and my wife has a G-26. Her trigger pull was much smoother and lighter, right out of the box. So I have been lightly, and carefully, stoning all the likely spots on the G-19 internals to match her trigger pull. This has helped a lot, in that the overall pull is smoother and more uniform, without so much of that increase in pressure necessary to break the shot right at the end of the pull. Is this something that you guys have found is fairly common in Glocks, and what do you do about it? I want to stay with stock OEM parts because my experience has been that after market parts generally create more problems than they solve. One shooting buddy has said that Glocks vary from one weapon to another and selective parts interchange sometimes will clear up a heavier trigger pull.
