I picked up a box of Brown Bear 380 ammo today its a 92gr HP. It cost me 8 bucks with tax for 50 rounds. I got it mainly to see if it would run in my PPK/S. Well the PPK/S ate it up I was suprised at how clean my pistol was when finish . I have fired Wolf in one of my 45's and was dirty not so with this Bear. I destroyed a few milk jugs It didn't explode them like CorBon does but it torn them up . Recoil wasn't bad and I fired a dusk and hardly any flash. The box says the case is Bimetal and they are Non Corrosive Berdan Primer. I didn't mean this to be a end all report Just that my Great little PPK/S by Interarms contintues to feed relieably any factory ammo Ive tried. I get tired of all the My PPK,PPK/S jams all the time posts. I state once more my pistol is 20+ years old it doesn't bite me and has never choked on factory ammo I love my PPK/S ;f

It's great to hear the old workhorse is being used! I sincerely hope the reliability of the Wolf ammo is something you can bet your life and your familys' lives on. That steel cased ammo just doesn't fit in my precision firearms or their chambers. Regards:)

I don't think Brown Bear has a thing to do with wolf. I stated in post the cases are BI METAL not steel so won't hurt pistol and shoot cleaner than Wolf ever hoped to. I bought these to play with .
I only use and carry CorBon 90gr.HP in pistols for SD These rounds have nowhere near Power of Corbon.
I buy different brands sometimes trying to get my PPK/S to choke like all those I hear about on internet. Mine is like the little battery bunnie on TV just keeps going and going. Must be something wrong with it may be I should send it in and ask them to make jam like all the others.

Thanks for the ammo report michael t. Always looking for good range ammo.
FYI, since your suggestions on replacing the spings on my PPK/s, she's been as reliable as my Glocks. Thanks for taking the time to help a "newbie" Walther owner out. Wonderful pistol!

Well Shucks, I never been thanked on internet before. I just glad it all worked out for you. I have a Colt Mustang and a Bersa thunder also But by far the PPK is my main carry It just fits . I did feel a bit under gunned Sat. I went out because my dogs were barking and their in my side yard stood a big buck with a rack you dream of 15yds tops. I thought about it, but decided PPK isn't a deer gun. He's still out their and if dogs bark I have my 44mag lever gun in hand now.
I've had trouble with Brown Bear in p99c and other 9mm pistols. It has jammed in the chamber and I had a piece of primer lock up a firing pin. I will not use the stuff again and recommend everyone to stay away from it.
