Where's the kitchen sink?? lol, just kidding. You sure like your gadgets though, dontcha?
Here are mine, more or less pretty plain.
I was thinking about adding a bipod to the top one and ergo grips to the other two...

Sweet!
I just finished 3 builds, now I am too broke to buy a camera (which I probably couldn't figure out or learn to post pics):)

They are carbon fiber free float handguards. I got them here.

DPMS is making similar handguards now, in fact I think I would prefer the ones they are making, because you can't see the FF barrel nut on theirs like you can on mine (you can't see it really well in the pic I posted though) and they are a little cheaper.
Here's a link to the DPMS handguards.

Thanks for the compliments folks. They've been a long time in the making. I've tried many parts over quite some time, and I am now happy with what I have. I've learned my lesson -- buy CHEAP crap, and you get a CHEAP, UNRELIABLE rifle. Pay the extra few bucks, and the happiness will pay for itself. I can honestly say that I don't think I'll change out too much on either of those in the near future. My next build, I think I'll try new stuff, but for now, these two are gonna have to fit the bill in my .223 whim; well, these and my H&K 93.

USMC, love the green furniture. on the bottom ar doesn't the front sight get in the way of that red dot? i've got an eotech on mine and use a flip up front sight so it stays out of the way. the majority of ar's i've seen with optics has the stock front sight, is there some benefit to this?
Gorelicks, thanks for the links.
Both of you have too much disposible income.;f ;f

It's nice, thanks.
I did most of the moving over the course of the past 2-3 weeks. It's been a pain, I hate moving.

Nope, it doesn't get in the way; both of those Aimpoints are actually at the exact same height. When I look through the BUIS, then through the Aimpoint, I have the dot line up directly on top of the front sight post. Good stuff. I don't think I'd ever use a flip up unless I was using a traditional scope.
Just what exactly do you plan to do with that TOTAL OVERKILL??Just wondering.^8

What's overkill? The only thing I see that is excessive is the Surefires.
Otherwise, it ain't too much different than anyone else's rifle. Ya gotta have a stock, I just have "upgrades". It's a flat top, yep, need optics, etc. Mine's green, not black - personalalization.
Call it what you will, but I see a fun rifle that has many options. Overkill? Maybe in someone's eyes; but not mine.

I’d rather “overkill” then “underkill”.
USMCsilver’s setups are pretty much the standard now for the more serious stuff & rightfully so.
Although I’d like to make one small suggestion USMCsilver… Aimpoint covers should either flip straight down or off to the right (off to the left if left-handed)… keeps them from blocking vital field-of-view. ^c

Silver, you got yourself some pretty neat setups. How do you like those grips?

I've tried up and down and have no problem with them either way. I can go from the ready to the fire position quickly (from lots of practice on the trap range). Also, I shoot with both eyes open, so my FOV doesn't seem to be obstructed too much.
Thanks, of course, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it; that's my motto anyway...
As far as the grips go, obviously, I like them a lot. I've had many and have not liked them as much as the TD's.
