I finally bought some ammo today... I removed the barrel to drop a round into the chamber to admire that "un-supported" chamber.

WHOA!!!!
What "un-supported" chamber?

I couldn't believe it... there is a sliver of brass showing in the 6 o'clock position. I couldn't beleive it.

Anyway, I did notice that the brass did wobble around in the chamber though... is this normal?

How tight should the chamber be on the case when seated.
(I have some calipers if someone feels like giving me some hard data)

Glock's .357 barrels are better supported than the others, and the chambers are suppose to be tighter. It's easy to make a tight chamber when you are feeding a 9mm bullet into a 10mm hole. Your barrel is fine, mine will do the same thing.
