View Full Version : Need help with slide stop

The slide stop is poking up so that the slide engages it. This happens when the mag is not in and I rack the slide. I suspect the problem has to do with the spring on the side stop? Any ideas? I'm thinking I need to bend the spring to either open it up more or close it down, but I don't which. What do you think?

If you have a 3 pin Glock it likely is assembled incorrectly. Take the slide off and look to see if your slide stop lever spring is under the locking block pin or over it. You have to insert the locking block pin (smaller top one) in first and then slide in the slide stop lever and install the trigger pin, making sure that the spring is under the locking block pin.
