Which dewey rod to use for barrel cleaning?

Hi guys I have a glock 17 3rd gen and I am wondering which rod should I get from Dewey to clean my barrel ?

Is the 22CF6 which is 6" the best option or should I get the 22CF9 which is 9" ? Since the glock 17 barrel length is 4.49 inches will the 22CF6 be best ?

The 6 inch is all you really need, but the 9 inch is nicer.

It all depends if that is the only hand gun that you will ever have, or is there maybe a hand gun with a longer barrel some where in the future?
