I just discovered this wonderful novel by Olive Ann Burns. It is one of the funniest, most touching stories I've ever read. I couldn't put it down.
The story of Grandpa Blakeslee and his remarriage to a beautiful girl young enough to be his daughter only three weeks after his first wife dies scandalizes his family and an entire town. A fourteen year old grandson, Will Tweety, tells the tale which is set back in early 1900's.
What a great read!
